Denver, CO. (April 12, 2005) – Today, the United States Patent Office in Washington DC, granted a Patent Pending status to iModerate’s software and methodologies. iModerate’s unique and proprietary technologies are the newest method in the industry for garnering comprehensive online data.

“When you have breakthrough technology like iModerate does, filing for a patent is a natural step,” says iModerate CEO Joel Benenson. “We are extremely excited about what this technology can bring to the market research industry.”

iModerate allows individual, online survey respondents to be connected with professional moderators for a one-on-one interview. The technology works seamlessly with other data collection tools, which allows clients to use iModerate while retaining their current survey research provider. Ideal for a wide range of research projects including ad tests, brand, image and message tests, as well as tracking studies, iModerate gives clients a high quality, cost-effective tool to meet their needs when budgets do not allow for the employment of both surveys and focus groups.

About iModerate Research Technologies
iModerate was founded in 2005 by market research professionals Joel Benenson and Carl Rossow, and is located in Denver, Colorado. The methodology and progressive software are a result of years of research and development by industry veterans’ including analytical experts and field operations specialists. iModerate is a proud member of the Marketing Research Association, American Marketing Association and AAPOR.

The results we received from the iModerate one-on-one, in-depth conversations were much more enlightening than what we typically garner from open-ended verbatim responses. The live moderator offers us the ability and flexibility to probe deeper on certain points, enabling us to get stronger, less vague information. That unique capability has proved extremely valuable to us, and has made this IM-based platform an integral part of our research toolbox.
